Advancing Thunder

Cribbing the style of Final Fantasy Tactics' Cidolfus Orlandeau, also known as "Thunder God Cid", it's Matsuda. As in, he's actually wearing the armor that TG Cid wears (but the sword is his own). In fact just to supplement it, here's a link to the character's musical theme from the game.

Zalbag gets a theme of his own, but it gets used in other scenes and is only mostly associated with him. Cid gets his own, and it's badass. Though, there's a slower, sad variation that gets used in another scene.

I'd like to think Matsuda is comparable to Cid, but really? I can't justify that. Cid's just too good. The guy breaks the game's balance the moment he joins your party. He's the only person who measures up to Balbanes/Barbaneth Beoulve, which kind of serves to give you an idea of how unstoppable he must've been. I mean, he was able to force a fifty-year-long-war to a close from his death bed. Because his enemies were just that afraid of him.

I guess by comparison, Matsuda's an unknown. Very few people comprehend the scope of his abilities, so not many would even know that it's better to avoid facing him.
