The Hero's Sword

And here's one I just finished up recently!

Shout out to for inadvertently helping out on this one!

See, remember that picture of Rex with Al that you did for our art trade a while back? Well, I really liked the color of his hair, being darker, but still clearly brown. So I made his hair color more like that, since I'm also trying to make my browns more diverse.

Also, I looked at how you do your shading and tried something similar to how I figure you do yours. It came out pretty well, I think, and doesn't take an extra five-million-hours to do.

The title refers to Rexial's new title in the organization after things get shuffled around. He doesn't consider himself a hero, rather being subordinate to heroes, for example, by being their weapon. Still a grand and even pretentious title, but with a double meaning that goes in the direction of humility to the point of self-deprecation.


...Eh? You're confused by the strange coat? Oh, right, I haven't explained that here yet. I'll get to that.
